NHRA World Champ Bruce Larson has campaigned fuel funny cars since their inception. In 1968 he commissioned a tube-framed chassis and cloaked it with a stock-dimension Chevrolet Camaro fiberglass body, lettered it USA-1 and proceeded to mow down just about any competitor lined up against him. Larson still owns the car today. Not only does it start, but it also makes eight-mile passes with all the excitement of yesteryear.
